Labels can trap people but insights offer a way out. You will disempower yourself and a child if you just put a label on their behaviour. There is always something going on underneath the behaviour that needs to be identified and rectified or supported.  In this Workshop Joan is speaking to an organisation working with traumatised children but the principles apply to any child is who becoming defiant or resistant.
